I am a system-level thinker and a product designer with years of experience in turning initial concepts into user friendly and intuitive products. I have taken a role of senior UX designer at IBM since 2018 and I have designed a range of products including internal IBM homepage as well as accounting applications.
Prior to IBM, I co-founded my startup, Parentical Inc., which was a social networking platform for working parents and through that experience I got intimately aware of the importance of making innovative design decisions towards advancing business goals while staying within the budget and time constraints.
Before switching to digital product design I used to design medical products which included an FDA approved health monitoring patch that revolutionized continuous monitoring of patients’ vital signs by medical staff.
In my design process I value user research a lot and utilize many research methods to figure out what the root problem is and what is missing. By rapidly prototyping and user testing my design ideas and hypotheses, I gradually narrow down the design focus and converge to a simple yet elegant deign that users love to come back to. My research backed and user centered methodology and frequently tested and iterated designs are key factors in confidently launching a product for a broad user audience.
